Lululemon is a Canadian based company that began trading in 1998 and is a retailer of high-quality fitness apparel. It is also exposed to technology through its $500M acquisition of Mirror after an initial $100M investment in 2018. Tailwinds in the fitness industry through rising incomes in the Asia Pacific region and a continued work-from-home trend. The Committee, therefore, believe this is a valuable investment over the years ahead.

Vale S.A.

Lululemon is a Brazillian based mining company that began trading in 1942, it is the largest producer of iron ore and nickel in the world. Vale also aids clients with logistics. Vale will benefit from a constrained commodity supply and increased Chinese demand and solid financials. It has plenty of opportunities to expand over 30 countries that it operates and will also invest $2bn towards decarbonisation.

Meta

Meta is an American based company that was founded in 2004 as Facebook by Zuckerberg along with three others. Recently, Meta spent $10bn on Metaverse technology in 2021. Further, Meta has a diversified portfolio through ownership of WhatsApp, Instagram and Calibra. Meta has space to develop commerce on its platforms. Team Ackman believe this is a profitable investment in the long term.

RWE

RWE is a German energy company that began trading in 1898. It is the second-largest offshore wind in the world and the third-largest renewable energy provider in Europe. RWE will further benefit from government policies related to climate change. On financials, RWE has a much lower trailing P/E ratio than an average competitor and has a consistently strong EBITDA. Team Icahn predict this will be a lucrative investment in the long run.

Hotel Chocolat

Hotel Chocolat is a British company that began trading in 1987 and is a retailer of luxury chocolate, it has recently opened hotels and restaurants in the UK and Saint Lucia. The firm's revenue shows seasonality and has focussed on building a nationwide brand in the UK that is relevant and sustainable. Hotel Chocolat's supply chain is integrated, owning its own coca farms. Team Burry see this as a good investment in the short and long run.

Tesla

Tesla is an American company that was founded in 2003 and began selling electric vehicles and similar green products in 2008. Team Dalio see Tesla as a good short opportunity as the lack of charging infrastructure in less wealthy countries, only 5% of new transportation vehicles bought in 2021 were electric. Moreover, Team Dalio cite declining production in two of the four models Tesla produces and postponed product release dates.
